I met some of you at the Slickrock 50th last fall.
I’m the Bike Patrol on the trials bike.
Would the trail 110 do the whole Slickrock Trail?

I have a 85 Trail 110 and would have no issue taking it on this trail
That being said I grew up riding trials and racing enduros as well as endurocross
So if your a good rider who can take it easy on the bike go for it

It would be more fun IMHO on your Trials bike to me

I ride a Montessa 260 Trials. Like the Honda reliable build when I’m 5 miles from my Bronco.
Considering the Trail 110 for when I can’t shift with clutch, due to left hand weakness (Parkinsons).

That's a beautiful 110! I'm the caretaker of a 1969 90, but it's "patina'd" and needs some work that I'm slowly picking away at. I bet it would do Slickrock Trail in low range! It's been a while for me though, I think some of those climbs are pretty steep. Have to have the clutch adjusted right.

Anyone here thought about a Sur Ron? I've gone down the rabbit hole a little bit on Youtube checking these ebikes out, and they seem like a blast at a great price. For the money vs performance, they seem to be a pretty sweet deal. I've been thinking about an XT250 or something with fuel injection, but I've been really liking the various EV offerings lately - more torque, lighter, cheaper, quieter, easier to ride, little to no maintenance...lots of pros.

@MTSN Matt there's a guy on advrider who did a pretty cool video of the new exc freeride KTM. Have to admit, it looks pretty fun.. should skim through it if you haven't already.
