Head Gasket 1989 FJ62

Hello,

I posted this in Mud as well - but probably a better local resource here.

My 1989 Land Cruiser has some pretty good blue and white smoke coming out the exhaust. Time for a head gasket rebuild. I would entertain doing a carb'd 350 swap if I could pay someone local to do it reliably.

Who does Rising Sun recommend for the head gasket job?

Who does Rising Sun recommend for a potential 350 engine swap?

I have my 100 series to cruise around in while its being fixed.

Engines swaps are getting pretty expensive, I’d imagine you could expect to pay minimum 20k even for a carbd 350. Id do a head rebuild on the 3fe and go another couple hundred thousand miles.
