GX470 locker question

In the stock 8”???
Why? That’s just asking for breakage, IMHO.
I’d much rather swap to a 2010+ GX/4Runner/FJC axle with a locker, or just break out the checkbook for a Diamond (we still need to do that).

But to the original question: I have not installed an Eaton. We will go ARB, because we kind of use the air compressor all the time anyway.

There are a bunch of people in GXOR (the Facebook group) that have them. Are you a member there?
Not what you asked, but we put an ARB air locker in Rachels GX
It replaces the stock rear diff. Supposedly a lot stronger. I’m looking for anyone that might have personal experience with this diff.
