I'd take the Carb Fan if we can determine if those are interchangeble across years. I have a 78.....

what years cross over. I know mine from the ‘82 40 was a tad different.

From Specter Off-Road they show them as 77-80 for what it's worth. The part number they list is 182-92C or 182-92C-U (used). No good pictures from their site so hard to really say. If you can please send me a pic with hopeful some identificaton on it and maybe I can run it down.

Haha! Well....spoke too soon! Bought some kerosene, fired up the heater, but won’t stay running....troubleshooting shows nothing wrong....trying a new atomizer nozzle....we’ll see if that cures the symptoms.

At one point I thought it was a fuel level related thing.. that’s probably wrong tho.

Anyhow bummer it stopped working Kurt. I feel like if it ran for more than a second you’re doing something right. Hopefully it’s a fun project

Hey Marco, for the price, I’m not bitching, haha. For me it’s worth digging in to...I have the luxury of not really needing a heater, just taking advantage of your generosity to have a new toy...Not going to pour money into the repair...so far, in to it 5 bucks for new fuel and air lines, and 30 for the nozzle. If that doesn’t do it, I’m going to tap out. Oh yeah...bought some fuel for it too....K1 is pretty pricey stuff!

I'd be interested in the fan still once the part number is sorted out so I can verify year. Thanks for checking back!
