Does anyone in Denver have the Gamiviti seat gear press tool? I've just now cracked my second gear attempting the socket and mallet method. Even put the shaft in the freezer and warmed up the gear. But I don't think that even helps, because the design requires the shaft splines to cut a fair amount out of the gear. Wacking it with a hammer without any way to ensure it's going on straight is NOT the way to do it. I don't have access to a bench vise, so I'm limited to what I can get done on the kitchen counter, hence the hammer of doom. Before I throw another $20 out the window, figured I would see if anyone in the area has the special tool. Seems like the tool keeps things aligned as well as supports the outside of the gear to help keep it from splitting out. Thanks in advance.

I might have a press tool... you're welcome to come by with your parts and use it. I could also bring it to our next club meeting, if you can wait that long.

Thanks for the offer! I found a neighbor with a bench vise, and popped my remaining two gears on with no issues.
