First of all, hi everyone! I'm brand new to Rising Sun and grateful to be here. Just bought an FJ80 *cough* bestLCever *cough* and wanted to join up with with some like-minded folks. So thanks for letting me join your group!

I bought this T4R sight unseen from a used car dealer in Steamboat Springs almost 3 years ago. Took my 3rd gen runner up and towed it back. Since then:
Engine rebuild using Aisin and Denso parts from partsgeek and yotashop. Rebuild finished at Advanced Automotive in Parker.
New amateur-installed floor carpet
Installed sound proofing squares
New climate control face
New gear shifters bag
New grill
New headlights
New clutch
New front bumper (primer black)
New rear bumper (not installed because I whiffed on the adapter bracket)
New speedometer cable - installed when clock showed 240,xxx and wasn't working, so actual mileage unknown
New running lights for front grill

Rear window was operational, now not
Passenger door opens from inside only

Body was rattle can "rhino lined" by PO
Body is also VERY significantly rusted out and needs major major attention
4WD works as it should
Power windows up front work
Power side view mirrors work, but definitely need to be replaced
Missing 60% of front windsheild trim
Heat works - direction of blowing air not possible to predict - think there's a busted cable there too
Has AC pump but left the belt off intentionally during rebuild process
New catalytic converter
New muffler
Many many dings, dents and obvious rust
Rear differential leaks pretty bad at the pumpkin
Sunroof!

Biggest thing to know is it sprang a couple leaks after a random errand trip last week and has been parked since. Drew at Absolute is going to diagnose what's going on after I get my daughter's Rav4 back from clutch replacement.

So for now I'm seeing if someone wants to take it as is for $3500 , and I'll skip the hassle at the shop. Otherwise I'll make the necessary repair(s) and ask for a little bit more after the fact.
Tires in decent shape
Original wheels not in decent shape
Carhartt seat covers included
All signals work
Glass 100% (scratch in front windshield)

I'm sure I forgot some things. Happy to answer questions.
Also happy to be here, and even happier to get on some trails with you all!

Pics below. Has a complete, in tact topper also but apparently I've maxed out memory for pics. Topper is 8/10, original finish light blue

I am quite interested in a project like this but the wife may kill me if I do this before selling my 60.
