Due to dry conditions, the Pike and San Isabel forests have imposed fire and smoking restrictions as of Monday. This includes the Comanche National Grasslands.
Included in the restrictions are fires outside of developed campgrounds and picnic areas. Smoking outdoors in the national forests are restricted except within a closed vehicle or building.
