Brant at the BRD office has shared documents from Clear Creek county, instituting a Stage 1 fire ban which includes a ban on shooting, firearms, and the following:
1) Building, maintaining, or attending any open fire except wtihin a permanently constructed fire grate in a developed park, campground, or picnic area
2) Sale, posession, or discharge of any type of firework or pyrotechnic device.
3) Smoking except within an enclosed vehicle or building
4) All outdoor spark or flame producing activities
5) Shooting or discharge of any firearm except for hunting with a valid license.
The document has been attached below for your reference and will go into effect June 8th, 2018. Questions and concerns can be addressed through the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office:

It is Brant's understanding that the Forest Service-Arapaho Roosevelt NF will be enacting similar restrictions in the near future.
