Deleting Threads

Is there a reason why threads cannot be deleted? Particularly in the classifieds might be nice to be able to clean out threads for stuff that's gone.

Might make sense in the classifieds forum. In other areas, we don't want to lose pages of discussion or technical advice because the original poster decided to delete a thread.
