Cool stuff in NW Colorado?

Gonna be there in the 40 for a night and have never explored the area. Are there any good scenic trails and dispersed campsites you guys would recommend? It will be a quick pass through the area.

Kinda thinking Browns Park or Flaming Gorge general area.

Browns park is one of my favorite places.

OMG all of it. Shhh. Don’t tell.
Swinging bridge in Brown’s Park is a nice landmark. Campground at Gates of Lodore is beautiful, even being a campground. When we stayed there, there was nobody else there. Flaming Gorge Dam is worth the drive and the overlooks.
