Cataract Canyon

Dr. Schlegs and I got in on a Cat trip last weekend. Didn't take pics but others did, so I'll add some later. Highlights o the trip...25 miles of rowing across Lake Powell. Schelgs was like an Olympian. Our three-raft rig jumped every time he put oar to water. Also, he was on the boat that got stuck in the middle of the biggest rapid, Satan's Gut. It could have been a catastrophe! But the Kahuna (river God) was smiling at us that day. Scratch one off his bucket the bucket list. And yes, we did run out of beer way too early!

I can't wait to see the photo of my feet up in the air as I was attempting to get the outboard started. Good thing that piece of plywood was there as flooring or I would have ended up in the drink.
