Something very similar actually happened on the north side of Raton Pass this past Sunday on I-25. A semi with one of those newer fabric enclosures on the trailer lost a load of what looked like plate glass windows on a curve near mile marker 2. The state patrol had traffic drive slowly thru all the broken glass. The broken glass was so deep that from a distance it looked like the interstate was covered in snow. Cars with flat tires lined the interstate all the way into Trinidad. Luckily, I didn't get a flat, yet!

And the state patrolman's cousin, who as it happens runs a mobile tire repair business operating from Raton to Pueblo, states categorically that there was no collusion involved and it was merely coincidence...
