Bill Moore Lake 8-14-21

A great run of Bill Moore Lake on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Started out with 6 trucks (2 x 100s, an 80, 2 x tacos and a 4runner). Great weather and light trail traffic. We made our way to the lake, stopped for lunch and to run some RC crawlers. @Oh_shift was able to meet us at the lake and accompany us on the return trip. The only issue was @MountainGoat had some brake issues not far from the trailhead on the way out and was flat strapped out to a safe spot. Great day out with Rising Sun!
Thanks Dom and Brandi for organizing and leading. We had great weather and easy traffic on the trail after an easy mid morning start.
Had a blast playing with Dom's R/C crawlers at lunch, cool he let us all take turns bashing that poser rock with his nice toys.
A little exciting at the end with @MountainGoat having brakes go soft but he stayed calm and drove it to a safe stop on a steep decent . Club kicked in and got him to pavement safely on tether. Thanks to @bassguyry for tethering and @Oh_shift for keeping the road clear!

Definitely an awesome day! Thanks again to @DomOfTheDead and @Yarn Runner for organizing. We had a blast, even though @MountainGoat had some brake issues. Love this club!
