Automotive steam cleaner to borrow?

Anyone have an automotive steam cleaner I could borrow? Not sure it’s worth the $100-$150 investment…just yet.

I rented a home carpet cleaner (Rug Doctor) and used the upholstery tool on my car seats. It sucked out great quantities of black nastiness. It does not use steam, per se.

Pro tip. Do not connect a regular pressure washer to the drain hose on your hot water heater drain valve in hopes that you can "create" a steam cleaner.

It's a great way to ruin a pressure washer. I did some dumb things in my youth.

Was it the crud from the bottom of the tank that broke the washer?

Could have been the crud from the tank. Or the hot water in a cheapo Walmart electric pressure washer. Or the 18 year old idiot (me) that decided it was a good idea after a few beers to speed up prepping a garage floor for paint.
