attention 4th gen 4Runner owners

I am trying to locate a 4th generation owner. Redline Tuning is ready to test the hood lift kit (QuickLift) on a 4th gen vehicle.

Their shop is in Dexter MI.

Do 4th generation (2003-Present) 4Runners still use a prop rod to hold the hood up? or do they already come with struts?
