They are very plentiful. I have never seen as many doves as I've seen this year. I'm thinking more along the line of blue grouse or...?

They were thicker than mosquitos today. We had 20 - 30 fly in on us at a time. Could have limited out in half an hour or less if could shoot.

I hear the shoot scenario! I swear my first box of shells were blanks! Nicely done! I didnt bag out but came close. Had to get back to denver right after noon. Ill prolly try and sneeak out again before the weekend.

You guys hunt walk in for dove? I hit the walk in near hackston and holyoke for pheasant. Never have enough bodys to block but usually come home with birds if its cold and windy. Had tuesday off and seen hundreds of roosters. They are pretty spooked out there so they are hard to get the jump on. I think the season is till jan 15th so im going to try to make it out again.
