Got a strange one for you. I'm trying to determine if a FZJ80 clock spring unit is the same as a HDJ81 (right hand drive). My web search has come up empty. I'm sure mine needs a new clock spring since my turn signals reset way to early and my horn does not work.
Clockspringexperts.com has solid unit for a FZJ80 at a good price and they require a VIN for ordering. They did not recognize the HDJ81 VIN so they would not accept my order. I could use my son's FZJ80 VIN and get it coming my way, but now I'm wondering if there is a difference since my turn signals/wiper controls are opposite.
