60 Series engine bay bracket - fuse blocks, etc

Cross posted to Mud....

I wanted to upsize may alternator-to-battery wiring, but wanted something more clean than an inline fuse. There's not really a great place to mount a fuse block under the hood of a 60 though - and I really wanted to do that because I have other messy electrical stuff like aux lights going on.

So, as it typically goes with my truck, I went down a rabbit hole and designed a bracket to hold a fuse block. I got some CAD assistance from @nakman early on in the process (thanks!) and then decided to re-learn CAD for myself, for the first time in 20 years. The initial piece needs some alterations for Rev.2, like properly sizing the foot, but it works.

Any interest in this from 60 owners? It would be a great place to mount gadgets for a dual battery or solar setup. It may or may not fit an air compressor - I'd love to talk with someone about that. What else could you mount on the bracket? I'm all ears.

(main platform is roughly 11"x9", my fuse block is x-large; note where I chopped and re-bent the foot, that will be sized properly on the next round)

And yeah, sorry 62 owners - this ain't gonna work. I'd love to take a look at your truck soon and figure out where we could stick a redesigned version though.

I would LOVE one of these! They look great. I’ve got a 62 so it sounds like that might be an issue. I need a place to mount a circuit breaker that is running power into the cab of my truck.

Unfortunately, your air cleaner is in the way. I would like to get one made for 62s as well, and photos of the engine bay would be extremely helpful if you have the time.
