OK, I'm coming to this conclusion finally that I need to involve an expert. I need to get this engine running right (after spending all the time and money to have it run wrong does not settle well with Kirsten) and that is something that I just don't have time and understanding to do. So if you were going to take your truck to a shop to diagnose potentially one of a few things done wrong assembling an engine, who would it be? I have my theories as to what is wrong, but I want someone who is an acknowledged 22R guy. It seems to be beyond me to understand what I did wrong. Talking to Ted and Tod at Engnbldr has only clouded the issue for me. Their advice does not mesh well with the procedure in the book. So basically what I need to have done is the cam degreed with the crank right. Who or where?

Thanks guys. I've only taken a car to a garage for an oil change and alignments, so I dunno who to use for stuff like this.
