22R Cam Timing

Thought about putting this into an existing thread, but so it does not get lost I started a new thread. I think the distributor position indicates I'm off a tooth on the chain, being that it's spun pretty far into it's slot (not max'ed, though). The ignition timing is set to factory of 5* BTDC, maybe a touch retarded more than that (like 3~4* BTDC). Chili, JKimmel, Rude-boy? Guys, whatcha think?

Memory fails. Mebbe email the link to Ted? His memory is well worn from so many 22REs. It would explain a lot.

Yeah, I was hoping for some local help. Rudy went through this on JKimmel's truck, so I was hoping one of those two guys would recognize it and say 'Go back a tooth clockwise' or whatever.

It's further south than mine is, but I haven't retimed mine since I did the timing chain - I'd better get on that.
