Quick question, does time on the trails at Hundreds in the Hills count towards hours, or do they need to be local?

They can be anywhere in Colorado. My only question about Hundreds is that most of the trails there are actually county roads rather than Forest Service Roads. I am going to pm the Land Use Coordinator to get clarification on whether we should report county roads through National Forest land the same as Forest Service Roads.

Meanwhile, I found one trail that I ran at Hundreds which WAS on Forest Service Roads, so it counts:

7/26/19

San Juan National Forest and Rio Grande National Forest
Stony Pass FR 737 and 520

20 people 7 hours = 140 hours.

I do believe that I was on that with you! Thanks for clarifying this for me.

So here's what Ben told me:

Hey Dan,

These hours are reported to the COA4WDC, and the coordinator there turns them into the various organizations that need this information. I would report all hours and be specific as possible when noting which trails- county, state, or NFS roads. This will help ensure that the time is reported correctly.

Also note that this time includes the commute hours, so if you happen to be "commuting" via some county roads to a short segment of a NFS road, I'd be sure to include all that time as well.

Does this help / answer your question?

Thanks!
-Ben

So I will have more hours to report from Hundreds in the Hills unless someone beats me to the trails I was on. :)
