2014 Rising Sun Rally

Now that Cruise Moab is over, it is time to do an immediate pivot and turn our attention to this year's Rally. If we have it, and if we have it around the usual time we've been having it the past couple of years, we have until MAY 15TH to get the art to Todd for the July/August issue of Toyota Trails. We also will need to request event insurance from TLCA and secure a venue.

Basic questions we need to ask and have answered ASAP:

(1) Do we want to have a Rally this year?
(2) If so when? (Saturday before Labor Day is August 23rd)
(3) If so where? (Jeffco Stadium has been nice, if we decide yes I need to get our contract started ASAP)

Voted yes. Hopefully I can stay longer this time. I thought Jeffco Stadium was fine, too, but any other cool venue ideas couldn't hurt (breweries?). I'm in however it happens. I like scoping out what everyone else is driving.

2014 would be my first one but I'll always vote grass or dirt over asphalt. Whatever, whenever, wherever, I hope to make it this year.

I haven't been able to attend the rally for years due to conflicts with my work schedule and it being all the way down the hill. It would be excellent to have it somewhere up in the mtns for a change. Maybe Evergreen or Conifer? Grass and shade would be excellent!
