Wow, what a wonderful day to have this event. Sascha, Dave and Zach with some help from the club are all sporting well services front ends; including some shiny new rotors:D. Several people had their front end alignments checked and got a great deal on alignment work. Marco had some window tinting done. Kevin has a well protected air conditioning system and Bill - well Bill got a lot done but I don't recall exactly what it was:lmao:. Brandon didn't get his skid plate on, but it was good to see him.

I'd really like to thank all of this years participants and mentors for everything you contributed to making this years event a success. Our host, Kevin Shipman owner of B&T Bedliners, introduced us to Alignment Masters and was very gracious with his facilities. Both of these companies are run by top-notch guys - if you know of anyone looking for bed liner, tinting/bra or alignment work you can recommend they check these companies out with confidence.

This is just my third year attending this event and it is a pleasure to see how the club comes together to help each other out and how each individual gives of themselves to make our events successful. The logistics of this event can be somewhat complex, and I could not have pulled it off without all the help from everyone there. Thanks:thumb:.

I recall Daniel and Cindy had there cameras out and I was able to snap a few shots here and there. I'll be posting them up shortly.

Ricardo, you da man! Thank you so much for putting this event on again this year!

Both of these companies are run by top-notch guys - if you know of anyone looking for bed liner, tinting/bra or alignment work you can recommend they check these companies out with confidence.

Ige and I were both looking for a bed liner tinted clear bra alignment, and we weren't disappointed :)

With that visual, we'll move on to images:

Next we have Bill Morgan putting his shifter back in. You all may recall from his tech Q&A question at the Feb meeting, he had oil spooging out (tech term) from his shifter. He determined that the likely cause was too much oil being flung upwards in his H151 that he has decided that installing a vent on top of the shifter plate would be a good fix. In the first image you have a close-up of Bill re-installing the boot, in the second one, you see the special facial expression needed for a proper install.

Danial Markofsky found out that his wheel bearings were shot on his FJZ80. Here, Ige, helps him put the bearing races where they belong.

and more
1: Zach wrenching Old School
2, 3, 4: Getting Paul (LargeOne) to "practice" on my 80 reminded me of Huck Finn whitewashing the fence....
5: My shiny new rotors from Slee Offroad! I am happy to say I did not rear end anyone on the drive home or go flying through my own windshield. Once properly bed-in, I will report more.

1: Marco helping with re-assembly (with out Marco on reassembly and Neil on tear-down and parts shopping I'd still be there. Just one of the great reasons to wrench at the WBPP!
2: Me napping under the 80 while Marco works (actually I was refilling the front diff)
3: Tim wondering if such a shiny part actually belongs on a Pig.
4: Neil and one of the super helpful and friendly guys from B&T Bedliners. http://www.btbedliner.com/

And finally HUGE thanks to Ricardo (pictured below admiring a rust free spot on the pig) for organizing and to B&T Bedliners http://www.btbedliner.com/ for hosting (and giving me the idea to do color-matched bed liner on my hood versus a repaint.) Kevin Shipman owner of BTB Bedliners, Dodge has a bedliner sprayed grill, flares and rockers.

All the guys at B&T and Alignment Masters were great. helpful, friendly and looks like they run a first class operation.

Danial examines his hub, then pounds to seat the race.

They need to make dust caps with o-ring seals!

Thanks again everyone for all the help today.

Thanks to all...I had a great time. Sorry I couldn't be of more help with my medical issues, but I definitely learned a lot and feel a bit more confident about tearing into the front end and checking things out!

Thank you, Ricardo, and to B&T and Alignment Masters. Great shop space and great people.

Paul
