1993 Land Cruiser, Green. Good in and out, drives strong. We have been servicing the vehicle for the last 5 years. It has front axle done, PHH done. Has fresh tune-up, 190K miles and has factory lockers. $5500

Looks like a good 80, but I only need one. :D C'mon, Martin -- you know you want one. You won't even be tempted by a supercharger with a 1993.

I tried talking Kim into it, but she wants something with slightly better mileage. ;)

it would be nice to start from scratch instead of having to fix p.o. stuff, but way out of my budget. heck i'm trying to sell off all i have.

Wow, I wish I needed another rig that gets 15 MPG! :D

Does '93 have R12 in the AC or did they switch to the R134A?

Would this be an OBDI vehicle?

could be either R12 or R134a....my current 93 was R12...I converted to 134...my old was 134.

It would be OBD1 buy it!

It also is the ultra rare Green color! Tempting! ;) If I had the time and a few less projects I would build me a 80 series 4 door tray-back.....that would be cool! I agree with Oleg....save this from being parted out!!!!!!!!!!

Is the 1FZE really that much worse than later model 80 engines?

The 1FZ IS the later model 80 engine! The difference is 93-94 are air door sensored and OBD-1 whereas the 95-97 are mass air sensored and OBD-2. The later being better there but the 93/4 does have the 440 bus tranny which has a lower first gear and more heavy duty than the later 343's but thats a wash too as the 343's rarely fail so ......

Thanks for the info. I know nothing about 80's except that they are soft and come with cappucino makers. ;)

Contrary to popular banter and rumor there is not one 80 in our club that has a Cappuccino maker! There is admittedly some very fun and abnormal accessories found in a few but Cappuccino's are so last year! 'Latte's, popcorn, crock pots, HD drive in movie capabilities, and all other kitchen appliances are represented. So quit picking on us....we are sensitive! See ya at the movies! ;) :lmao::lmao::lmao:   :kevin::robbie:
