Where: 40.12888, -105.52078 push through camp to back parking lot to air down
When: 7/18 meet up at 9 am trail by 9:30
Why: because it’s a great day to wheel

Due to the popularity of this trail we were going to limit the group to 8 trucks. We will have lunch somewhere along the way and just enjoy the day.

We ran this last Friday with a group of about 8 trucks as a night run. The only place to really stop for lunch is at the big water crossing at the top. It’s definitely a lot of fun at night and the sunset at the top is spectacular. We will definitely be doing this as a sunset run again before summer is over.

Have a blast it’s a great trail, one of my favorites easy and always changing so you never know exactly what you’re going to get.

Unfortunately someone has already dismantled the gatekeeper and moved the big rock in the large water crossing so that people can fly through it. The little bridge walk way is also damaged and unusable this year too.

Have a great time!

We would come with you if we weren’t out of town this weekend. We saw a momma moose and her baby last time we ran it!

What a great trail and a great crew to go with! Have a wonderful time and keep the rubber side down.

Really looking forward to this!
What are the thoughts on lunch? Quick sammiches, pulling out the awnings and the grill and kicking it for a while, full on hiring a catering company to meet us at the lunch spot with appetizers, 3 course light tasting fare with Dutch oven apple pie and home made ice cream? Just trying to get a feel for what I will bring for a mid day caloric intake.

Hey Adam, I like your thinking.
Will someone have a menu I can I look at?
Any beer on tap?

I’m all for it if someone else organizes it 😂. Last couple trails we have done have been foodie runs, which I love but it’s a lot to make it work. Tell us what to bring and we’re cool as long as Dom isn’t behind the grill.

My message may have been misinterpreted, I don't have time to organize a full luncheon! I was just checking to see how much time everyone was thinking for lunch break. I dont want to be the one eating a Lunchables while everyone else is grilling burgers, in the same sense, i dont want to bring the grill if everyone else is smashing uncrustables. I'm just trying to guage what to bring so I'm not the obvious odd guy in the group.

Please advise trail leader!

I suggest everyone do their own thing, but let's pull out our awnings, chairs, grills and have an extended, relaxing lunch break.
