Could we do a restaurant perhaps next month?

Certainly not opposed to a restaurant if we found the right place (that would allow for proper communication in a good location).

To give a little more background on our decision here I'll add that in November and December we have the business of officer nominations (November) and elections (December) for our 2022 board. Our goal has been to find the most inclusive way to conduct these next two meetings.
I'm optimistic that we're going to see some faces we haven't seen lately by providing a different meeting altogether on zoom in contrast to the in person outdoor meetings. I decided awhile back not to split meetings between zoom and in person (long story short it's hard to do well without great spaces, tech, and more work... it degrades into separate meetings otherwise) but I considered breaking that for November/December if we had the Stevinson space where we could put in the extra effort and which would have been the ideal from an inclusive and traditional standpoint. The Stevinson space was not approved for November and we're looking at December possibilities with them now.

I'm looking forward to the Zoom meeting this week and expect it will be a great time if a bit different from the 'roony meets.

Thanks all!

Hey,

I just want to throw something in here as a newbee (and non-member). The September meeting was my first. Remember the rain and maybe sleet mixed in there? I missed the October meeting. Now, I think ZOOM is godsend so don't get me wrong. But I was impressed by the unwillingness of the RS group to let a little bit of shi_ ty weather get in the way of a good discussion on tire specifications. And after a while it was like "well, we're about done and the weathers getting sh_tty so ... is there any other business?". I'm being a little bit facetious here ... but not really. I liked that spirit (attitude). No, I don't like to stand around in the rain or freeze my a-s off for no reason. But it was time better spent than anything else I had to do and this is Colorado ... you've gotta take the weather as it comes. Viva zoom! But keep that spirit.

I will throw this out there as an option. The Golden Gate Canyon Grange has a meeting room big enough for all of us. We could rent it for between $25-$50 for a meeting. Wife and I are members and she is the treasurer so if you all are interested I could ask.
