I just don't get why people would pay $60k for those trucks, even with the low miles. A built truck, sure, but stock? I don't get it.

I paid just a bit more than that for my 200, and it was about 2.5 years old, with 40k miles. For $60k, I'd much rather have a newer 200, with the bigger V8, 8-speed transmission, and all the creature comforts.

We have been going to Moab around the same time CM2021 took place this year and it was a completely different this last year. Usually after EJS things are really quite. Not this year, and probably not last but we skipped last year because of COVID. My guess is that right now it's hard to find a Toyota vehicle at all right for a fair price, it's inflated everything that could possibly be a off-road vehicle. Things will calm down again, but it may not be for a few years.

I could buy an ok 200 and a pretty build a nice 80 for 60K

Anyone who is spending $60k on a 20 year vehicle has never replaced a sleeved control arm bushing or steering rack on a cruiser.

I suppose with that kind of money they will just drop it off for the $10-15k worth of work it ends up needing after sitting most of its life.

Thats an exhaust slider. It's dual function.
