@Hulk , I bought a rope from Allan after last year. Would you like me to bring it by your house for you to check it out?

What I plan to buy to replace my ARB recovery strap which has damage from use:
ASR builds gear for Safe X-Tract to Safe X-tract specs.

OK, I bought a 20' kinetic rope from ASR. In particular, I purchased the 7/8" Ultimate Kinetic Recovery Rope (28,300 lb MTS, 9,000 lb WLL).

This thing is huge. How do you guys store these things? They don't roll up neatly like my ARB straps.

I'm still kind of scratching my head that I needed to add this rope to my recovery gear. I've got two straps that I've been using for years to pull my friends out when they've been stuck, and they've always worked fine.

I have this super cool bag I keep mine in along with a couple shackles and a Hitchlink. I just can’t recall where I got the bag...

I also bought a 20' kinetic rope from ASR. (but the Safe X-Tract version)
I have a ATC throw bag for many years. My ARB strap is in it. I do not think the rope will fit. I'll try to check this weekend.

Looks like you could move a barge with that thing.

You're more right than you think, if memory serves it was actually retired from the Navy.
Partially correct. 😉
One of the last things I did as I was leaving was sneak into the wharf shed and “forceably” retire a sea bag’s worth of brand new mooring line from the spool that was sitting in there.
