Argentine Trail/Pass maintenance items

I was up on Argentine last weekend and a few maintenance items stood out to me:

1st, I think the bushes that are up by the pond on either side of the trail could use a trimming back.

2nd, I'm pretty sure this section was blocked off at one point? Looks like a switchback shortcut to me... there was nothing blocking it so it couldn't be used as a shortcut.
