Default 2017 Rally

No pictures...but I had a good time at the rally. It looked a little light attendance wise, not many of us buyers, but that made for good deals from the sellers.

Mike Simpson had a beautiful 45, there was a sweet 1960 25...I don't know who brought it, but it was a beaut....Adam's 40 was a treat, got to talk to some members, and catch-up a little...Steve, and Sacha...thanks for some 40 talk...

I got a turn signal switch for my sisters 40, that needed a little TLC...opened it up, cleaned, and got it working again like new...for the price, it was worth it. Hooks, inside door handles for the '71 40 were acquired...I should have got the skid plates, and seats...hind site is always 20-20...

Anyway, the rally is one of my favorite club events (also the 40's only, and recovery night)

Thanks Rising Sun for another great time...

Agreed, Kurt, a good time and good to chat with you. The RS Rally has always been a great time for everyone. It should be a regular annual scheduled well in advance club event. It allows for the most hanging with friends time of any RS gathering other than the 4-5 days of Cruise Moab. Great for picking up bargains, as you point out and for trying to rid your garage of stuff you are otherwise just tripping over. Thanks to Adam and Kat for making it happen this year!

HUGE shout-out to Adam and Kat, as well as volunteers such as Kevin and Mike for helping to make yesterday's event happen. I did not take any pictures this year, but saw plenty of people taking pictures...Mike Davidson where are you?

BTW the 1960 FJ25 was Justin Robbins' from Redline Land Cruisers down in the Springs. He and his crew are long time Cruise Moab supporters and he operates a top notch Land Cruiser business down there.

Thank you everyone for making this event happen. I wanted to personally thank Adam and Kathleen for stepping up and for all you did to support the rally.
