Marco, I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if they are pulse welded?

Right? That stuff is down right beautiful. Makes my welds look like crap...

Nope, Thats just plain old being good at welding, and throwing a nice whip action... or "weave"

It helps when you do hundreds of the same weld, in the same position, on the same material....

Good things are happening. Got started on the SAS.

I'll be continuing all through the long weekend.
I'm hoping to have all the old stuff cut off and ground down and have my new T-case cross member installed by the end of Monday.

Default The Honey Badger Build, etc.

Super busy day today.
Got the rest of the IFS stuff cut off of the frame and ground down.
Then started on getting the new T-Case cross member from @frontrangeoffroad installed. Quickly found out the exhaust was in the way for that. So it had to come out too.
Tomorrow I'll continue with the cross member. Once it's in place and welded, I can cut out the stock cross member. It has to come out in order for the 3-link brackets to be welded onto the frame.
(EDIT: the brackets actually had to go in first as there were clearance issues and the brackets for the crossmember have to weld into the link brackets.)

I'm beginning to feel overwhelmed.
But obviously still super stoked to be doing this.

Got to where I can tack the link brackets to the frame. So that'll probably happen tomorrow.
I also got the passenger side frame reenforcement plate welded on.
Will also be looking at the brackets for the axle housing tomorrow.

Another busy and productive day. Got the driver side frame plate in and the bolt holes for the steering box drilled through the frame and slugged. I clearanced the body panels so the steering box would actually fit. I got the link brackets tacked on and the upper arm bracket welded into the the driver side link bracket. I also got the brackets tacked onto the axle housing.
Still a lot to do. And unfortunately I'm not going to be able to continue this next weekend. But I'll get back to it as soon as I can. I need to take the oil pan off and put the new one on. I also have to drop the transmission pan and re-seal it because it's leaking. Then I can continue with the axle alignment.
