Default Pix of head

Here are photos. This engine scarfed a valve seat and the seat was turned into little bits and embedded in the piston top. The engine head seems fine, save for not having a valve seat in it. I would have a shop check out the head for cracks and check that part of the casting to be sure it's ok. The valve is floating in mid-air - it did not hit the area where the seat lived.

Hi Mike,

I am parting out a June of 1986 fj60 if you need a cylinder head still. The engine ran it is missing some emissions parts and interior is rough.

Let me know,
Art

Not to hijack, but do you have a non-broken FJ60 antenna by chance?

Martin let me look in the garage over the weekend. I think the one on the truck is toast.

Great to meet you and the 'other Mike' - chatting 'cruisers is more fun than working on them, sadly...
